Elizade
Motors began operations as an automobile marketing company in 1971, although
the company was registered 3 years earlier as Elizade Trading Stores with their
major focus on handling general textile sales including underwears.
By
1973, Elizade Motors became incorporated as Elizade Nigeria Limited. The
company later evolved into a dealer on only Toyota vehicles and spare parts in
Nigeria in 1976.
Over
the years, Elizade Motors have consistently marketing, selling and servicing Toyota vehicles in Nigeria and presently they are clearly ranked as the no.1
Toyota dealer in Nigeria.
Elizade’s
superior performance in sales and service delivery as a result of many years of
experience has given them a strong corporate image which has improved the
guarantee they provided to their customers.
Elizade
Motors began its operation from their Ikeja Office in Lagos, Nigeria and later
moved to a more conducive place in Ogba Lagos in 1979. By 1976 Elizade Motors
had opened a branch in Akure to cater for its increasing customers and has
opened two more branches in Port Harcourt and Abuja by 2016.
In
1995, Elizade commissioned its corporate head quarters: Elizade Toyota Plaza in
Lagos .
In
1996, Elizade Motors went into partnership with R.T Briscoe (another recognized
Toyota dealer in Nigeria) and East Asiatic Company (EAC) Japan, to establish
Toyota Nigeria Limited in Nigeria.
Presently,
Toyota Nigeria Limited is the main importer and distributor of Toyota vehicles
in Nigeria, with a turnover of over N33b (thirty three billion naira) an
authorized share capital of about N750m (seven hundred and fifty million naira)
and a total asset base of about N8.1b.

Repairs Procedure At Elizade Motors
Below
are the procedure taken for vehicle repairs at Elizade Motors
·
At Elizade
Motors, every vehicle brought for repairs is test-driven to sense the fault,
after which a proper diagnosis of the vehicle is done.
· An invoice
indicating the cost of repair is then prepared for the vehicle owner based on
the diagnosis and the owner would be required to pay 75% of the total cost
before the job can commence. Customers who decide to cancel a transaction after
an invoice has been issued would be required to pay a surcharge.
· Calls are
welcome during repairs to give an update of the job.
· The balance of
25% must be paid on the completion of the job. Elizade Motors offer a 7-day
concession for cars to be retrieved, after which a surcharge of N500 will be
paid for each additional day the vehicle
spends in the workshop after repairs have been completed.
· Elizade Motor
also offers discounted towing service for vehicles that break down
unexpectedly.
· Elizade offers
a post service follow up to ensure the customer is satisfied with the service.
However, any unsatisfactory job can be returned within 7-days from the day and
date of delivery with the receipt.
Steps For
Repair In Case Of An Accident
Get a
police report
Attached
a duly filled insurance claim to the police report
Get
your insurance company to assess the damage.
Get
your insurance company to pay the required 75% of the approved cost of repairs.
Enquire
about the progress of the job from the customer service manager
Bring a
release letter from your insurance company as well as the yellow card given to
you by the service advisor for the vehicle to be release to you after the job
is completed. However if you are paying for the damages yourself, then you only
require the police report before the vehicle would be released to you.
Payment
can be made through Cash, Bank Draft or Corporate Cheques.
