Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC) was one of the 11 distribution companies formed in March 11 2005 as a direct result of the Electric Power Sector Reform (EPSR) bill, it was further privatized on 1st November 2013.

EKEDP operates and gives power supply to mostly the southern part of Lagos state and Abgara in Ogun state (which are its “license area”).

These license area of Eko Electricity Distribution Company is segmented into 3 circles and 10 districts namely:

West Circle: which has 3 districts – Agbara, Ojo and Festac
Central Circle: It has 4 districts – Ijora, Mushin, Orile and Apapa
East Circle – It has 3 districts – Lekki, Ibeju and Island

Each District office has a Customer Care Center (CCC) where customers can make inquires and communicated with the Customer Relationship Officers (CROs).

Eko Electricity Distribution Company also placed 3 Zonal Offices in each District to overlook the operation and maintenance matter of low-tension (LT) network in a safe manner.
Eko Electricity Distribution Company is currently headed by Charles Momoh, the current Managing Director.

How To Make Prepaid Payment Through EKEDC Official Website

Step 1: Log in to Eko Electricity Distribution Company official website here
Step 2:  Register by typing in your account or meter number if you are a new guest. Login with your email address and password if you have already registered.
Step 3: You will be directed on how to make payments for your prepaid meter through the prompts

How to Make Prepaid Payment Using Quickteller

Step 1: Log  on to https://www.quickteller.com/ekedpprepaid?option= if you are a prepaid customer
Step 2: When the site load, you will be required to submit your Meter Number, Email address, mobile number and the amount you wish to pay.
Step 3: Click “continue” and you will be take to an secure Interswitch Bill payment page.
Step 4: You will be required to fill in your ATM Card details such as your Card Number, Expiry Date, CVC (which is the 3 digit number at the back of your ATM Card)
Step 5: Click “Pay” and you will be required to supply an OTP (One Time Password)

Note:
-        
If your transaction is successful you will be send an email and text confirmation with Recharge PIN

-        Your ATM Card needs to be Interswitch enabled before you can perform this transaction
-        Preferred ATM Cards are Verve, MasterCArd etc
